In my first career I spent many years as a musician with the occasional foray into plumbing, and my second career was spent as a research physicist, which has evolved into my current job as a  teaching fellow in laser physics at Manchester University. I also have a third spare-time career as sole proprietor of Orrelwood Waterworks, a company that designs and manufactures innovative illuminated water features. This watery venture provides a satisfying synthesis of the creative and technical streaks of my nature. 
Anyway as Meher Baba said: "Don't worry, be happy!"
